Buy a Sexy Halloween Costume

Most adults live quite a stressful live. Work, kids, relationship, obligation etc. etc. (We all know what I'm talking about). For many people, the idea of Halloween and dressing up is exciting, but for some it has the opposite result = not fun at all.

I know, I used to be one of them. For many years I was married to women who loved to go all out on Halloween. She loved the tradition, she loved the Haunted house, and she loved to dress up, the gorier the better. And, she spent a long time every year planning the Halloween celebration and decorations.

I could never understand the point in all this. "What is the big deal?, Why are you doing this?" I remember asking. As a reply I used to get this perplexed look from her and the answer always was, "you are so uptight". Not what I wanted to hear and it triggered a few discussions between us.

Year later, when I had the guts to look at my own reactions, rather than letting her know how "wrong she was for thinking I was uptight". I then saw that, yes, it was me, totally me that was so uptight about having fun.

That discovery was painful because I saw how many times that had resulted in me holding back from fun rather than just step in, join in, and just go for it.

So, I decided to change that. And my wisdom () told me that the best way to meet the fear straight on, and just do what was uncomfortable. So I did. I got myself a Halloween outfit that I could kind of hide behind. It was awesome. What a liberating experience.

And as years have gone by, I am no longer hiding behind those masks; I am out there, having a ball. No more Mr. Uptight.

Now I own a business selling Halloween costumes. Not just for Halloween, but in order for others to have the liberating experience that life is awesome once you drop your fear.

I say, GO FOR IT on Halloween. It will positively affect all other aspect of your life as well. And you will feel so proud of yourself.

For all of you who says "not me". Look at your reaction. That is the key.
